We are thrilled to announce that Women’s Choice in Care Initiative, Inc. has officially changed its name to Gentle Landing Community Fund.
This name change reflects the organization's evolving mission to provide comprehensive support to families in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont.
While continuing its legacy of financial assistance for midwifery and birth center care, the nonprofit is expanding its scope to include robust community outreach, such as a weekly "Fourth Trimester" support group and a new mental health initiative for fathers and partners in the first year of parenthood, to name a few.
We hope you will donate today and become part of the Gentle Landing team, giving families a choice in how and where they birth in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont.
Have questions? Want to get involved? We'd love to hear from you!
By aligning our name with the trusted care provided by the Midwives at Gentle Landing Birth Center, we are making it easier for our community to find us, support us, and access the resources they need.
Our Updated Mission: While our name is new, our heart remains the same. Our updated mission is to champion equitable access to personalized birth choices and holistic perinatal support in the Upper Valley.
We are dedicated to:
Ensuring Access: Removing financial barriers to midwifery care.
Building Community: Funding free postpartum groups and mental health resources for the entire family.
Advancing Education: Supporting professional development for the next generation of midwives and doulas.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support makes this "Gentle Landing" possible for so many families.
