The team here at Gentle Landing made me feel safe, understood and supported throughout my entire pregnancy and birth. They made me feel from very beginning that I was in control of my birth and that I was capable of birthing my child in the manner of my choosing. Katherine and Mariah made a great team and I loved having the opportunity to help another future midwife learn about pregnancy and caring for a pregnant person, while also learning to care for myself and my future baby. I have had two babies prior to coming to Gentle Landing. Both were hospital births and both were inductions using pitocin because they were past their due dates. When I became pregnant with our third I really wanted a different experience. I felt there had to be a better way and found GL. From my first phone conversation with Meghan, I knew it was going to be a much more natural way to approach pregnancy and birth. The midwives were incredibly caring and personable. When I had to be induced, it was a completely different experience that didn't require harsh drugs or hospitalization. My birth was fast and intense, but I had total confidence in Katherine because we had developed a relationship and I knew she was very experienced and cared about me and my baby. I wound up giving birth in the hospital, but it was ok because Katherine was there and I knew she would advocate for me and that she knew what I wanted. The postnatal care was such an unexpected blessing to my family as we navigated having a new baby. I felt so supported and knew that I could call anytime if I needed the support. I would definitely go to Gentle Landing again for prenatal care and birth. Thank you both!

Katherine and Megan fill two very different and necessary roles at Gentle Landings. While my birth wasn't what I had invisioned due to my medical needs I felt very supported as I was guided through the changes. Megan following me to Gifford Medical center was a huge relief as she scrubbed in for my cesarean. I love the team at Gentle Landings!

Gentle Landing Midwifery has been such a gift to me! They have supported me now through two pregnancies and home births. After my first was born in a hospital, I knew immediately that I wanted to have any future children at home. Gentle Landing has made that possible. Throughout both my pregnancies, I had the space and freedom to choose the options that were best for me, with strong advice and support throughout the entire process from the midwife team at Gentle Landing. Katie- I don't have one single complaint. For the better part of this year, we have been getting to know each other and grow a baby and I couldn't be happier with how it all went down. I had a wonderful experience here-it truly was a "healing" birth experience and exactly what I wanted. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and friendly from my very first call through the postpartum stage. Even when some minor hiccups occured later in pregnancy, I was supported and given facts and options that allowed me to be informed and ensure a safe delivery

The midwives at Gentle Landing provided me with prenatal care that was personal, comfortable, and well informed. I felt listened to and accepted for the decisions I made for myself and my baby. They also were available and attentive when I had questions in between appointments at all hours of the day if I needed them. My birth experience was calming and supportive.

Our experience with Gentle Landing was wonderful from the very beginning. My husband and I felt cared for, listened to, and given the information and respect to make our own decisions both prenatally and at the time of birth. We loved the entire midwifery team, they are all passionate and knowledgeable. The birth was absolutely beautiful, undisturbed yet supported in all the necessary ways. Each time we visited Gentle Landing it felt like we were coming home. The midwife team were trustworthy, welcoming, and always available. The atmosphere at the birth center is calming and serene and you can feel the love that goes into immediately upon entering. My husband and I were always treated with respect and our care felt personalized during each visit. The birth itself was perfect and our birth team felt like family. We would (and will) recommend Gentle Landing to any pregnant woman and would feel confident that she would feel the same about her experience as we did. We will gladly return for any future pregnancy.
